4-Day Week Success at CLM!

We are delighted to announce that the 4-day working week trial at Connections Legal Management has been a huge success improving productivity and job satisfaction.
The trial began on 1st June where the team were given the opportunity to move from 35 hours over 5 days to 32 hours across 4 days for the same salary.
Laura Wilson, director, said: ‘We truly believe the 4-day week is the future of working life and it is encouraging to now see the range of businesses across the UK embracing the four-day week trials.
‘We pride ourselves on being an innovative business and a progressive employer, and our experience in planning for and moving to a 4-day week has shown that it is possible for businesses to do this and bring huge benefits to their team and clients.’
Recruiting and retaining staff has never been difficult at CLM however the 4-Day week offering has certainly attracted some outstanding talent to CLM, and there has been no negative impact on our client service delivery. The team have been even more motivated in managing workloads to accommodate the new working pattern.
Our team have reported that the trial has been a significant game changer in shaping a more positive work/home lifestyle and have spent their rest days volunteering, exercising, and some simply enjoyed having more time with their children or pets.
We are so pleased to have been able to offer such a progressive offering to our team. Joe Ryle, director of the 4 Day Week Campaign, said: ‘Companies should embrace the 4-day week as a way of boosting productivity, improving wellbeing and to help with job retention’, and we couldn’t agree more!
