Mercury Business Awards 2020
CLM is delighted to be finalists in TWO categories at this year’s Mercury Business Awards!
Victoria Magnall, Brand & Communications Manager, had the pleasure of meeting (remotely) judges Ashley Sutherland of Hegarty Solicitors and Leader of South Kesteven District Council, Kelham Cooke, to discuss the highlights of 2020 and what it means to be a finalist in both Small Business of the Year and Team of the Year.
Victoria shared that, ‘during Covid, CLM really levelled up in terms of business improvement, despite the pandemic. Not only did we ensure that our current client portfolio received our very best service, but we also welcomed new business.
‘We referred to our business strategy and concentrated on business capability, delivering continuous improvement, and creating sustainable success. This clear and collective vision has ensured we are all working with the same shared objectives in mind.’
Victoria went on to say, ‘training and development have come in all forms, from online training via RAU and Peterborough College to 1-2-1 coaching sessions for those new in role. We have developed all team members with in-house training ensuring we are a robust, inter-skilled team.
‘To be finalists in the Small Business of the year and Team of the Year categories this year means the world to us as we have really shown what can be achieved even in challenging times.
We are a small team who make a big impact, the work we do touches everyone in the UK; we leave a huge and impressive legacy and create long term, sustainable benefits. Above all, our team spirit does not stop at 5pm on a Friday, we demonstrate our care and support to our projects and one another in so many ways.’
