CLM Apprenticeships
When CLM embarked on the apprenticeship search with Rutland Apprenticeships, it was with one objective in mind; investment.
- Investing in an individual’s training and development
- Investing in shaping a career in land rights
- Investing the CLM pool of knowledge and experience to assist an individual who was keen to learn
- Investing in a future, permanent team member for CLM
Having met with Charlotte Law (Rutland Adult Learning and Skills Service in partnership with Peterborough Regional College), we felt confident that she would shortlist suitable candidates who would thrive at CLM, and that she did. Within the month, Charlotte had sent over several brilliant CVs one of which was Ella Bryant’s. We set up an interview with Ella and were highly impressed with her mature attitude and capabilities, leading to us offering her an apprenticeship at CLM.
From Ella’s start date at CLM, she and we have been supported by Rutland Apprentices, with regards to communication and support. Ella has settled in well and is already much very much part of our team. Our structure has lent itself well to introducing an apprentice and we would be keen to appoint another. Ella is enjoying both the Business Administration aspect of her learning as well as the ad hoc and design elements we are involving her in. We have a weekly meeting where we set out the following week with hints, tips and successes.
We have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, organisation and communication shown from Rutland Apprenticeships and would not hesitate to urge other businesses to consider embarking on the apprenticeship programme. There is no better way to make a difference than to invest in the employees of our future.
